Alexis Gertler DDS PA
Dr. Alexis Gertler is a prosthodontist who combines advanced restorative dentistry with an artistic eye for aesthetics to create beautiful, natural-looking smiles. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smile and is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Dr. Gertler earned her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University in Cellular and Molecular Biology, building a strong scientific foundation and a deep interest in healthcare and patient-centered medicine. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she developed the clinical skills and compassionate approach that continue to guide her practice today.
After dental school, Dr. Gertler completed a General Practice Residency at the Manhattan VA Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience treating medically complex patients and managing a wide range of advanced restorative and surgical cases.
She then pursued specialty training in prosthodontics at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where she also served as Chief Resident. Prosthodontics is the dental specialty focused on restoring and replacing teeth, and her advanced training included dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, veneers, crowns, and complex aesthetic restorations.
Dr. Gertler blends modern digital dentistry with meticulous attention to detail to create results that are both highly aesthetic and long-lasting. She believes exceptional dentistry begins with understanding each patient’s goals, and she takes the time to listen, educate, and collaborate so patients feel confident throughout their treatment journey.
Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Gertler regularly pursues continuing education in cosmetic, implant, and digital dentistry to ensure her patients benefit from the most advanced techniques available.
